I think we both have moments (probably more than we would like to admit) where we crave our blonde hair again. Nothing like frying your hair to get out of a funk. Hey, it worked for both of us I’d say.

It is hard to think of a few words to say to you because you mean that much to little ole Cwis. To me, you have always been in my life even though you haven’t. It just feels like you have and we’ve always had each other. I really admire many many many many mucho mucho so many things about you and uber super respect you as an artist. You capture life in such a perfect kind of way. I basically love every picture you take. True true. 

You are so loving and bring such joy to the people in your path. 

It is so truly admirable and worthy of emulation. 

And of course, we will always have SPAIN! 

and you two make so happy!

the laughter, the funny faces, the dress-up parties, the beauty, the always unique style, the photography, the "INFJ" (who just so happens to be my "ideal match" if i were a boy), the honesty, the truth-seeker, the real conversations, the raw emotion, the model, the "see into your soul" baby blue eyes, the juicy bum, the adventures, the charity...always the charity. lani, looking through these pictures to send to you brings back SO many beautiful and unforgettable memories of such a dear friend. my heart will never forget the girl who stayed up thru the night to "rescue" me from my "house intruder" and emotions, the girl who walked all the way back down the mountain just to spend time with me, the girl who lets me cry with her and shows no hesitation to cry with me, the girl who will drop everything to serve another, the girl who understands me in my relationships, the girl who helps take care of my sister and favourite nephew when my heart breaks that i'm not there, the girl who often ignores her own needs because she doesn't want to intrude on others, the girl who played sarah with me on our 2nd encounter in hawaii, the girl who loves me despite all my failings and flaws, the girl who emulates christ-like love. thank you for being that girl. happy special day. please ensure you get EXTRA hugs and squeezes today from me, got it? ;) i love you woman. xox

As I was perusing through my pictures, I noticed that most of the ones I have of you, you are entertaining my son. You have been a lifesaver on so many occasions since we’ve moved to Boston. Asher absolutely adores you and has even claimed that “Lani is one of my best friends!” I marvel how you are with children - I truly feel like it’s a gift you’ve been given that you have developed wonderfully. 

I have loved watching your relationship with Robert blossom. I love how every time you come over you come bearing food of some sort - ingredients to whip up a loaf of bread or a complete meal...I mean, who does that?? Lani does. You are such a giver. Thoughtful, loving, patient, kind, generous and good.

What a year it’s been for you! From Paris to engagement to marriage to newlywed life to everything in between. I have a feeling this next year will be great too. I love the bond we’ve developed over these last two years, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for you next
